Representative Dina Titus (D) ousted three-term Republican Congressman Jon Porter in 2008 by just 18,000 votes. It was the first time in the district's short existence that a Democrat would be representing it in Washington. Apparently, the residents have had enough of Democrats after only two years, as according to a new Mason-Dixon poll: Titus is ten points behind her Republican opponent.
Mason-Dixon Survey of 625 registered voters:
Joe Heck (R) - 53%.
Dina Titus (D) - 43%.
None of These - 1%.
Undecided - 3%.
The poll also has Sharron Angle leading Harry Reid by four points, and Brian Sandoval leading Rory Reid by sixteen points. It's beginning to look a lot like Republican's will rout the Democratic Party in Nevada. What are the odds of Democrats coming back? I'd bet every house in Vegas they are low right now.
