Republican candidate for Senate in Florida Marco Rubio appears to have taken an insurmountable lead in one recent poll. He leads both current Governor Charlie Crist and Democrat Kendrick Meek in what has been a very interesting Senate camapaign.
Crist has not been able to gain traction against Rubio despite running as a "moderate" in between both parties. Both the Crist and Clinton camps have been pressuring Democrat Kendrick Meek to drop out, to no avail. But this recent poll seems to show that Rubio will win. There's another poll out today showing him with a 17% lead.
Rubio (R): 47%
Crist (I): 27%
Meek (D): 23%
The beginning of Rubio's national political career appears to be running smoothly. Looks like we can call this one on Tuesday.
