LeBron James and the Miami Heat dispatched a "professional basketball team" this evening with relative ease, even though the preview to this game was done-to-death by ESPN, the Associated Press, and everybody else with a sports blog. The opposing team in question? The soon-to-be defunct Cleveland Cavaliers.
LeBron scored 38 points, attributed 8 assists, and picked up 5 rebounds in the win; this is the first time he has played in Cleveland since he signed with Miami earlier in the year, which we now realize caused the single largest jersey-fueled bonfire in American sports history.
Miami Heat: 118.
Cleveland Cavs: 90.
Any thoughts?
Also, I personally believe LeBron was smart to leave Cleveland for Miami.
f#$k you
