Confirmed: Loughner a 9/11 Truther

As more information is coming out about the Arizona shooter Jared Loughner, it becomes more and more clear that he is mentally disturbed. His friends describe him as a "liberal" and was pushing for George W. Bush to lose the 2004 presidential election. He was a "pothead" and hated the Christian faith. He also liked bands that had anti-American messages.

As more investigation focuses on Loughner and his family, it appears that he is more insane than previously believed. For one, he is a 9/11 Truther, believing that the US government, led by George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, carried out the September 11th atrocities:

He believed the U.S. government was behind 9/11, and worried that governments were maneuvering to create a unified monetary system ("a New World Order currency" one friend said) so that elites and bureaucrats could control the rest of the world.
Loughner is also known for being increasingly aggressive towards others-- searching for "chaos."

An ardent atheist, he began to characterize people as sheep whose free will was being sapped by the government and the monotony of modern life.
"He didn't want people to wake up and do the same thing every day. He wanted more chaos, he wanted less regularity," one friend said.
Even those who just knew Jared Loughner through class and not further social contact pegged him as a nut:

"My very first impression was that he was unstable, mentally and emotionally. He frightened me," she said. "His behavior was just so inexplicable. He had outbursts that were completely nonsensical. His behavior was angry and aggressive and something about him just frightened me."
Loughner appears to be a nihilistic young person influenced by constant beratement about how American society and the Bush Administration was illegal and evil. He took these flights of fancy to the extreme-- hating the system and his Congresswoman. He seemed to take the counter-culture to its insane conclusion, choosing violence instead of reasonable discourse.
