Polls: 35% Blame Palin for Arizona Shooting, 53% Approve of Media's Handling of Story

Just minutes after shots rang out in Tucson two Saturdays ago, liberal "journalists" began to tie former VP candidate Sarah Palin to the shooting, in the complete absence of facts.  After it was learned that the shooter, Jared Loughner, was most likely liberal and did not listen to Sarah Palin at all, left-wing pundits still continued to blame Palin.  Unfortunately, it worked to a large degree.

A poll released yesterday found that 35% of Americans believe that Palin is at least partially to blame for the shooting.  35% of Americans bought into the lie.  35% of Americans must be morons.

According to Gallup, only 21% of Americans see themselves as liberals, so that leaves at least 14% of Americans that blindly find Palin behind the trigger in Tucson.  Blaming Palin for the insanity of Jared Loughner is so beyond idiotic, I honestly believe that there must be another dimension that I am unaware of, simply because so much stupidity cannot be contained in our reality.

But it gets worse.  In the aftermath of the shootings, while liberals were screaming for the death of Palin, the former governor of Alaska defended herself.  I'll say it again: Palin was defending herself from malicious lies, telling people that the shooting was a tragedy and that she wasn't at fault.  46% of Americans disapproved of Palin's handling of the aftermath.

46% of Americans found it bad that a woman who had nothing to do with the shootings in Tucson defended herself.  46% of Americans found it bad that a woman who has death threats against her dared to ask people to calm down.  46% of Americans found it bad that a woman used her first Amendment rights.  46% of Americans found it bad that a woman wouldn't know politics if President Bush roundhouse kicked them in the face.

In contrast, only 30% of Americans approved of the way Palin handled the aftermath.

But here's the kicker.  53% of Americans found that the media- the very media that libeled Palin, the very media that called for blood- 53% of Americans approved of how they handled the story.

I have to stop writing now, I'm afraid my eyes will start bleeding.
