Unconfirmed: John Edwards Engaged

 The type of story that just makes you want to vomit profusely. Just after the death of his cancer-stricken ex-wife, former Senator and current disgrace John Edwards, may have decided to "settle down" again. The reports indicate that Edwards has decided to marry his mistress Rielle Hunter, whom he cheated on his dying wife Elizabeth with while he was running for President in 2008.

“Heartless cheater defies Elizabeth’s dying wish,” screams a line on the supermarket tab’s cover. Below that: “Rielle tells his two young kids: ‘CALL ME MOMMY!”

Man, that guy's a scumbag. And to think that the Democratic Party chose him as their Vice Presidential candidate in 2004 and almost as their Presidential candidate in 2008.
