Sources tell Pundit Press that fake doctors' notes have been obtained from union rallies in Wisconsin. They read:
Feb 19, 2011

To Whom it May Concern:
This is confirm I have seen and evaluated the above named patient.
Please excuse from work/school due to a medical condition from

The purpose of these phony notes are to enable random people to hand in fabricated notes to their employers or superiors. This would make it appear that they weren't lying about being sick, but that they had in fact been ill and had seen a doctor.
One woman who obtained a fake note stated:
“I asked if they were handing out doctors’ excuses and a guy said yes and asked me if I needed one. When I told them I needed one for February 16 and 17th, he wondered if I wanted to come back here for the protests next week. I said, ‘sure,’ and I received a doctor’s note for the 16th through the 25th of February, without a medical exam.”Another man stated:
“I asked this doctor what he was doing and he told me they were handing out excuses to people who were feeling sick due to emotional, mental or financial distress. They never performed an exam–he asked me how I was feeling today and I said I’m from California and I’m not used to the cold, so he handed me a note.”These "doctors" are the same people who think that lying to people and children is a great idea. The Democrats they support believe it is a good idea to leave the state to defy legally and rightfully elected officials, thus giving a metaphorical middle finger to voters.

I've got to ask, how do you get linked by free repub and lucienne so quickly. What about me:)
ReplyDeleteLOL. I added a couple of quotes and some opinion...and hey, I gave you a H/T
ReplyDeleteUH did a really good job breaking the story. I just hope he didn't write any of these doctor's notes....
ReplyDeleteIt's his signature, but I doubt he is there handing them out. My suspicion is that these are residents or interns doing the dirty work. They will hand out white coats to nearly anyone these days, you know!
ReplyDeleteSecond physician identified, Hannah L Keevil. Another board certified FP in Madison. I wonder as to the legalities of this?
ReplyDeleteRumor has it first offense: lose license. Second offense: criminal prosecution. Not sure if it matters if an intern hands them out if it's a licensed physician's name and license number.
ReplyDeleteAnd they will want their principals to believe they are sick, saw a doctor, and didn't make an insurance claim for the doc. visit? This is easy enough to sort out if someone has the will to do it.
ReplyDeleteThese Docs should lose their licenses. This is friggin absurd!
ReplyDeletewhat is the real harm if the person is not getting paid for the days of work or if they really do need the break from a job that completely rapes them for minimal pay. yes some people are well paid to do nothing but most aren't so getting a fake not so they don't go in an kill all there co-workers is really a god send. but that doesn't count for everyone and i dont think there should be one blanket thought about the situation
