Gaddhafi To Venezuela, Venezuela Denies

 There is increasing word that Libyan dictator Muommar Gaddhafi has fled the country. One of the most common lines is that he is on his way to Venezuela. This has been confirmed by the British Foreign Secretary. Whether he is on his way has not been publicly stated by the Libyan government.

 Adding to media rumors, British Foreign Secretary William Hague said earlier on Monday he had seen information to suggest Gaddafi had fled Libya and was on his way to the South American oil-exporting nation.
However, Venezuela has denied that the dictator is on his way there.

Venezuelan officials seemed surprised by the rumor Gaddafi may come, though Chavez is famous for taking unexpected decisions.
