Mayor Mr. K? It Could Happen.....

My write-in campaign for Mayor officially concluded its operations earlier this morning.

I now await the official results that will be announced sometime tonight, or tomorrow after the local citizenry makes their decision between me and the incumbent Mayor, who was unopposed and heading towards his eighth term until last week.

After announcing my candidacy last week in the local newspaper, I planned an onslaught for this morning before the polls opened: hit 100 Village homes with campaign fliers (which will probably reach over 200 voters), place a campaign sign near the polling place entrance, and contact a few friends to help me to not make a complete fool of myself.

I don't expect to win tonight, because my main goal was to have a competitive election between myself and the Mayor, but you never know what will happen when the voters head to the polls.
