Administration officials now say that President Obama is looking fervently into ways to restrict the Second Amendment. Even worse, the President is looking at ways around the legislature completely, hoping that laws can be "secured strictly through executive action."
The Department of Justice held a meeting Tuesday, the first of what is expected to be many, discussing gun laws. The main focus? The White House's attempts to form a gun policy and change laws.
One official stated, “The purpose of these discussions is to be a productive exchange of good ideas from folks across the spectrum. We think that’s a good place to start.”
I'm sure President Obama, widely regarded as one of the most partisan Presidents in history, will really take others' opinions into account.

Yeah, 90% of the people might give them up, that still leaves 10.2 million gun owners who won't and those 10.2 gun owners are the men who have been stockpiling guns and ammo for years. They're NOT going to give it up and many are organized with like minded individuals that will out gun any swat team on the planet and combined out gun any army on the planet. Most are veterans, many combat veterans, and a significant numbers of which are special ops.

The Founding Fathers wasnt some stupid people. They learned FROM HISTORY that every time the government took weapons away from its citizens, that government turns corrupt & makes its citizens nothing but SLAVES!
They won't take our guns. They'll just outlaw manufacturing of ammo. Same result. And for those who say that gun crime is a reason to outlaw guns, I can assure you that criminals will always find a way to get guns. I think he forgot who elected him in 2008 and he has alienated many of those voters. That's why illegals are encouraged to come in the country. In Maryland, the governor is allowing them to get drivers licenses, government contracts without E-Verify, and in state tuition for college. The Democrats need to get CANNED.
