Officers Shot, Hostage Situation in St. Louis

Breaking-  Three U.S. marshals have been shot today in St. Louis, Missouri in what appears to be a homicidal rampage.  Details are unclear at this time, but there are now reports that there is a hostage situation.

ST. LOUIS -- St. Louis police say three federal marshals have been shot during a gunfight that left another man wounded at a home.

Police had no immediate details on the conditions of the marshals or the man wounded during the shooting shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

Two of the marshals were taken to Saint Louis University Hospital, the third to Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Police didn't immediately provide additional details about the shooting.
