War on Libya: British Jets Strike Tripoli.

British Tornado GR4 fast jets launched strikes against Muammar Gaddafi's stronghold in Tripoli earlier today:

Tornado GR4 fast jets and a Royal Navy Trafalgar-class submarine were involved in striking "high value targets" in the capital Tripoli and other parts of Libya as the international community swung into action against Muammar Gaddafi.

British and United States vessels launched coordinated strikes on Libyan air defenses yesterday afternoon.

American, British and French jets have now launched attacks against Libya's airfields, air force and air defenses.
