The Guardian published a piece yesterday calling Rachel Maddow a "top US news anchor" and how she prefers jokes to anger in political discussion.
Done laughing?
Besides from the relevant fact that Maddow is one of the left's greatest bomb throwers against anyone who falls under the Conservative umbrella, how can any legitimate news organization call her a "top anchor" without filing it under satire?
Apparently, they did not read the cable news ratings for Thursday, April 21st, 2011 when Maddow was last competing against Sean Hannity's program on Fox News, which if you don't get - demand it!
Sean Hannity - 1.9 million viewers; Rachel Maddow - 1.0 million viewers. In fact, Maddow's program is in such high demand that Bill O'Reilly's repeat at 11PM that evening defeated her program by just over 200,000 viewers, and even by 30,000 viewers in the prime 25-54 age demographic.
I don't know who approved this story at The Guardian, but they should drink a nice dose of reality before touting liberal talking points.
What say you?
