Unconfirmed Rumor: Huckabee Out....

As the headline suggests, this information has not been confirmed. As a matter of fact, there has been a denial from the Huckabee campaign itself, so it may just be a pesky internet rumor.

Take this one with a grain of salt, folks.

With Haley Barbour out last week, is another Southern Governor stepping aside? According to one South Carolina site-- yes. "Process Story" is reporting that Governor Huckabee told staffers in the Palmetto State to search for work elsewhere.

The word is that he’s told South Carolina staffers that they have his blessing for them to peddle their wares elsewhere. If this is as true as it appears, it’s the second major shakeup. Monday, Miss. Gov. Haley Barbour surprised everyone but himself when he announced that he would not seek the GOP nod.

This comes as Huckabee leads in the polls both nationally and in South Carolina. Barbour's retreat would likely give him a boost, so I'm suspicious. I won't believe it until upper echelons of his campaign start making noise. Some random site in the internet isn't exactly credible (trust me, we're one of those).
