Bizarro World: Pelosi Thanks Bush for bin Laden Death (Seriously)

This is perhaps the most bizarre piece of news that we've ever reported here-- and we've dealt with Charlie Sheen. Former Speaker of the House, San Francisco Representative Nancy Pelosi was glowing with praise for President Obama over the death of Osama bin Laden.

Another person she praised? GEORGE W. BUSH!

From the Hill:

Following a classified briefing on the operation to take down bin Laden, Pelosi told reporters that she called the former president earlier in the day to "congratulate him and thank him for the leadership role he had played in this quest over the years."

Pelosi was Speaker of the House for two years while Bush was in the White House.

Pelosi said she thought Bush appreciated the call.
