The Politico 2012 reported yesterday evening that Herman Cain, who came out of Thursday's first 2012 debate with high praise from Conservatives, will likely announce his official Presidential campaign on May 21st in downtown Atlanta.
Mr. Cain dropped the announcement bomb on RedState editor Erick Erickson's talk show yesterday night, just twenty-four hours after his oratory skills wowed South Carolina Republicans in the Fox News debate that Governor Haley gladly attended.
What does this mean?
Folks like me need to take the successful businessman seriously now, and I feel he needs to take those of us who care about foreign policy seriously likewise.
Also, the Conservative punditry class will have their first real candidate for the Presidency since Patrick Buchanan in 1996, which could result in another upset like we haven't witnessed since New Hampshire's amazing victory by the former Nixon official.
What say you?
