Uh-Oh: Most Republicans Don't Want Palin to Run

Sarah Palin is probably the best well-known potential Republican candidate for 2012. However, it appears that to many Republicans, she also holds baggage. According to a CBS News poll, a majority of GOP voters do not believe that she should run for President next year.

Many may be saying no because they like her current advocacy around the country, but there appears to be a negative undercurrent:

Fifty-four percent of Republican registered voters want Palin to stay out of the race, as do 50 percent of Tea Party supporters. Just 34 percent of Republicans and 38 percent of Tea Party supporters want her to seek the Republican nomination. Overall, two-thirds of registered voters want Palin to stay out of the race.
