Wisconsin Union Disrupts Special Olympics Ceremony

Wednesday was supposed to be an exciting day for athletes competing in the Special Olympics in Wisconsin.  They got to meet a mascot, wave to adoring fans, and even were able to meet Governor Scott Walker and listen to him speak about the important strives they are making.

At least, they were supposed to hear that, until the Wisconsin Union decided to make a scene.  In the middle of Mr. Walker's speech, protesters walked in front of the governor, intentionally blocking the view of Special Olympians:
The Union members were dressed as zombies and some laid on the ground to pretend that they were dead, possibly to frighten the athletes.

When asked about the incident, and whether it was appropriate to protest the governor at a Special Olympics even, one protester responded:

"Yeah, that's why we didn't come in walking like zombies. You don't want to offend."

  1. Disgusting and cruel. But not surprising when you consider the disdain progs have for the disabled, exemplified in their attacks on little Trig Palin and their eugenics push to have all possibly disabled children aborted.

  2. Surely such burning hatred for Down syndrome children and adults as we keep seeing from the Left comes from Satan himself.
