Mr. Obama is paying for his $50,000-a-week estate himself. However, the separate plane rides that he and his wife took, the car rides, the salary, movement, etc. of the Secret Service, flying in politicians, so on and so forth are all covered by us. They are also covered, in part, by those who have no jobs.
Mr. Obama's $50,000-a-week estate |
US News is estimating that the trip will cost "millions." So, at the very least, the trip will cost approximately $2,000,000. Divided out, that's 50 jobs at which people would earn $40,000 a year. And obviously, the trip could be more. It could come out to 60 jobs, or 70 jobs, or 100 jobs.
But, shucks, liberals will tell you that the President hasn't been on break that much during his administration. In fact, they use the number 70 as the number of days that Mr. Obama has taken off. You know, because they intentionally don't use facts that destroy their lies.
For example, at the beginning of this year, the President had taken 61 days of vacation and 57 rounds of golf. Problem is, those rounds of golf are not included in the vacation days. The two are not considered the same. That means that many times that he went golfing, the Main Stream Media didn't consider it time off. Get the fake math that liberals use?
President Bush on vacation |
And gosh golly, that President Bush went on vacation too, liberals will whine. They'll feel free to leave out the fact that President Bush gave up golfing during his Presidency (in 2003) so as to not offend those who lost loved ones in Iraq and Afghanistan. On top of it, Mr. Bush would go home on vacation most of the time. Mr. Obama rarely does and, instead, goes on lavish trips with tremendous, expensive estates.
And the cherry on top? Mr. Bush's ranch is very energy efficient and "green" while the President burns greenhouse gases like they are out of style.
But when you are liberal and you lie, who's counting anyway?

The First Lady is also accused of spending $10 million in public money on her vacations. According to the National Enquirer, she is believed to have taken 42 days of holiday, including a $375,000 break in Spain.
