Earlier this week we covered the Huntsman campaign's all-in shift to New Hampshire, which demonstrates his lack of national appeal, but today we have even more interesting 2012 news: Rep. Michele Bachmann's campaign is shutting down their Virginia office and focusing solely on Iowa - revealing her shrinking appeal.
Her national appeal, surprisingly like Huntsman's, is declining rapidly and she's putting all her eggs in Iowa's socially conservative friendly basket. While the former U.S. Ambassador is counting on those independent-democrat granite state voters; the Minnesota Representative is hoping for religious-ideological caucus goers.
I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of Republican candidates leaving after the first two contests, and if Mrs. Bachmann fails to win or finish respectably in Iowa, she'll be one of them.
What say you?
