Well, it's all over folks.
Herman Cain just announced that he's suspending his campaign for the Republican nomination, but that he will remain involved in the political process by advocating for his 9-9-9 plan, and other conservative initiatives. His wife was by his side and the event had the appearance of someone announcing their in it to win it; not I'm dropping out.
The 2012 Republican field is now down to seven: Gingrich, Romney, Paul, Perry, Bachmann, Santorum and Huntsman, but only Gingrich and Perry have a realistic shot of gaining now detached Cainiacs - the others will, on the bright side, have more time at the upcoming debates and will perform better by being there, by default.
What say you?
