  3. WARNING!!!: I want to stress, the following information is about a "Floyd Corkins" but may or may not be the same "Floyd Corkins" involved the Family Research Council shooting. This is provided as search information only. Regardless, let the authorities take their proper action.

The Facebook page for someone with a similar name (http://www.facebook.com/floyd.corkins) lists an affiliation with George Mason University (GMU). GMU is located in Fairfax, VA.

Media reports indicate the shooter was 28 years old (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/family-research-council-shooter-identified/). His name does not come up when searching the GMU web site (http://peoplefinder.gmu.edu/index.php?search=Floyd+Corkins&group=students&x=0&y=0). He could be a former student, however.

If it is the same guy, Floyd Corkins also signed a petition in support of Tariq Khan, sponsored by the GMU Students for Peace (http://www.petitiononline.com/petitions/gmutariq/signatures?page=2). The petition is signed by "Floyd Corkins I".

Here is addition information on the 2005 Tariq Khan case.

  6. For every one left wing nut there are 20 right wing nuts. Sure the Family Research Counsel is an evil organization but violence against them will only make them look like martyrs. What sucks more is that he shot an innocent guard. If he had got one of those Nazis it would be somewhat more acceptable.

    1. YOU should be so ashamed of yourself for even saying that it is acceptable if he 'shot one of those nazis'. NO VIOLENCE against another human being should ever be encouraged - no matter how much differences you have with the other. Killing another human being is simply WRONG at any level. I hope the FBI is reading this so they should be putting YOU on their "watch list" for uttering such hate and advocating such violence.........

    2. I would say that your comment demonstrates just what a hate-filled bigot you are.

The Nazi mentality is all yours! You're actually recommending that people be killed because they 'think' differently than you do! Because they are not willing to bend to your demands and support the rewriting of a 5000+ year old definition of marriage.

All this latest event demonstrates is that those who demand 'tolerance' practice 'intolerance' with great zeal.

  7. I visited Chinatown on 8/5/12 with my family. A thug took offense to my husband's Harley Davidson tattoo, called him a racist, and threateningly followed us until we found a policeman at the Metro station. So this lawless mentality in Chinatown does not surprise me. We left DC the next day and will NOT return. Something is dreadfully wrong in Chinatown.

  8. Charge him with terrorism and send him to GITMO. I'm sure he'll get along fine with the other boys.
