Christopher Dorner Dead

After a week of hunting for the most wanted man in California's history, Christopher Dorner - a former Navy Reservist and LAPD officer - apparently committed suicide at Big Bear Lake. As after a shootout that left yet another police officer dead, and another wounded in his wake he holed up in a cabin that was completely surrounded by Sheriff's deputies, a solitary gunshot was heard, followed by flames engulfing the entire cabin.

Thankfully, the horror is over, and Dorner is finally no longer a threat to Los Angeles' finest.
