MLB Tattoo Injury: Elvis Andrus out with Tattoo Soreness

Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus was unable to play in his team's Cactus League shutout victory against the Cleveland Indians yesterday because of soreness from a tattoo he had done Wednesday in honor of his late father.
The Rangers shortstop's tattoo in honor of his late father
Ron Washington, the Rangers skipper, said that Andrus has been working hard this spring and that another day off will not hurt him. Although, I would definitely ask the infielder to refrain from any more ink this season if I was Washington, as you don't want to lose your shortstop in the middle of a pennant race for tattoo soreness...

With that said, the tattoo was in honor of his late father and he missed a spring training game, so no harm or foul was done, but he will forever be known as the man too ink sore to play ball.

What say you?
