After Arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Conspiracy Theorists Scramble to Blame "The Jews" for Boston Bombings

Facts, as I am certain all of you know, have no bearing on the minds of those willing to be this stupid.

As you might expect, regardless of evidence to the contrary, people are blaming the Boston Bombings on "the Jews." Not only was this before Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was arrested, but afterward, when irrefutable evidence shows people of the Jewish faith were not behind the attacks.

One of the first was an expected source: a Jordanian journalist, who stated that, 'The Jews and the American Right are behind Boston bombing, just as they were behind 9/11.' With crazy people like this, they hear, "Chechen terrorists who are Muslims?" And respond: "Must be the Jews!"

People on twitter were happy to pin the blame on Jews as well:

Is all of this unexpected? No, not really. There are crazy people out there and there always will be. But is it disappointing? I would say certainly.
