North Korea to Restart Yongbyon Plant

A dramatic 2007 video showed the cooling tower for the Yongbyon nuclear power plant being demolished. The images showed North Korea at least acting as if it was coming under control. Now, with the newest provocations coming out of the country, it appears that that has changed. The Stalinist dictatorship has announced that it is restarting the Yongbyon facility, three years after ejecting IAEA nuclear inspectors.
In a statement issued from its state news agency, North Korea said work to restart all facilities at Yongbyon will be "put into practice without delay." North Korea has said its nuclear-weapons program is now non-negotiable and will be built up in order to provide security from what it sees as threats from the U.S.
Things are certainly heating up north of the 38th parallel. Please bookmark!
