The Amatuer Photography Needs Good Eqipment

My sister is always changing her mind about what she wants to do with her life. Sometimes she wants to move to Brazil and teach dance or music or something, other times she wants to live in the Netherlands and teach English while sampling all the high alcohol content beers. She’s crazy, but my shared blood says I have to love her. Heck, I probably would anyway, she’s a real sweetheart and a fun and funny person to be around. Well, over Christmas, we were talking, and it didn’t take long for her to launch into her old familiar story beginning, the story that starts with, so, I was thinking, I think I know what I really want to focus my energy on. I rolled my eyes, of course, as any sane person would – she saw that and took mild offense.

Even though she knows she’s famous for this kind of opinion changing, she still somehow always gets offended by it. It’s amazing. This time, she was talking about how she really wanted to become a photographer, and she’d even gone so far as to purchase a photography backdrop which she conveniently had in her car. I asked her to show me, and I wasn’t familiar with any brands of backdrops for photography, but the thing looked like it would do the job. We talked, and since I’m in the performing arts, I said well, why don’t you practice and take some head shots for me. We set up a makeshift studio in the garage and she took some photos. Would you believe she had the nerve to charge me – or try to charge me – a hundred dollars? Obviously I said she was out of her mind, and then we had a laugh. She told me she got the equipment at thelashop.com, and that seems like a pretty good place to do that.
