White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said on Monday that he doubts President Obama "will spend his whole time watching" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday.
“Well, what is true in any context is that the release of this information that was provided to Israel, our allies, in the context of regular detailed classified briefings — that releasing that information would betray the trust that exist between two allies.
"And that would be —again, that would be true even if the Israelis were to claim that they had obtained that information from somewhere else.
“I haven’t looked at the President’s schedule for tomorrow. I doubt that he will spend his whole time watching this speech," Earnest said.
