I have often reminded you of an important truth of life, illustrated by what is ridiculously called “the news” today; specifically, small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, and great minds talk about ideas. The Lame Stream Media consists of a collection of agenda-driven dolts, pandering to the least informed, dumbed-down members of our population, which is why “journalism” has degenerated into Freak of the Week. Lately this title, and its incessant, insufferable wall-to-wall coverage on every television outlet, including ostensibly serious cable networks (no laughing), has gone to obviously disturbed individuals who should be committed, not celebrated. While we were hearing endless discussion of Rachel Dolezal, a white woman whose “truth” is that she is actually black, or Bruce “Call Me Caitlyn” Jenner, who claims to have been tormented his entire life because he likes to wear makeup and dress up like a girl, Obama and his co-conspirators, including establishment Republicans, continue their war on you in real America.
I’ll say one thing for our first Marxist, Affirmative-Action occupant of the Oval Office. He’s a man of his word. He promised to “remake” America. He promised to destroy the coal industry. Recently, during his June 6, 2015 Weekly Address, he vowed to keep doing everything he can for those “undocumented” folks, “American in every way except on paper,” and he’s been working 24/7 on that goal since he set foot in the Oval Office. Thirty million new democrat voters in nothing to sneeze at, after all! As for you, Bitter Clinger, once the democrat party decided to go from just a little pink around the edges to full-blown red, they knew that it would be a waste of time to go after your votes. Unfortunately, apparently the East Coast Brain Rot-afflicted GOP Establishment agrees with the Left that your votes aren’t worth seeking. Mitt Romney can’t stop saying that his biggest mistake was not sucking up to minority voters. Will these guys ever learn? Not bloody likely, I’m sorry to say.
As the old credit card slogan goes, membership has its privileges. In this case, I refer to membership in a certified victim group. So like the black skin privilege that is becoming a license to trespass, resist arrest, burn down businesses and otherwise raise hell, the privilege accorded to another victim group, illegal aliens, grants them all sorts of goodies, as their due for all the suffering inflicted on them by this mean country, including, but surely in the coming days, not limited to:
Health Care
Remember back in 2009 when Obama stood up in front of Congress and vowed that his proposed health care plan would never provide coverage to illegal aliens, and Rep. Joe Wilson threw the BS flag, yelling “you lie?” Nancy Pelosi was so outraged that her Botox-frozen face almost registered an actual expression. Of course, Rep. Wilson was correct. Last year, Secretary of Health and Human Services Sylvia Burwell, in a webcast with Latina bloggers, advocated extending Obamacare to the “DREAMers,” and California is poised to offer government health care to illegal alien children. Democrats there vow to extend these benefits to all illegals. Federal government approval is required for illegals to participate in California’s Obamacare exchange. I’m betting that they’ll get it. Lest you think this new social welfare rathole affects only those in California, dream on (no pun intended). As always with these programs, all U.S. taxpayers will contribute. Meanwhile, you can’t use your “insurance” because the deductible is your first born, one of your limbs and your dog.
Employment
Amnesty advocates often harp on the failure of the government to punish employers who hire illegals. “That’s the problem!” they wail. “Crack down on them, and problem solved.” Barack Obama apparently disagrees. From the Washington Times:
"President Obama took office vowing to go after unscrupulous employers who hire illegal immigrants, but worksite audits have plunged over the last year and a half, according to a report released Tuesday by the Center for Immigration Studies, tumbling along with the rest of immigration enforcement. Fewer owners are being arrested, and fewer fines are being collected as well, according to the report, which suggests that even as he offers amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, Mr. Obama is giving a similar free pass to ever more businesses who provide the jobs magnet that draws them."
Thank goodness we have all these illegals here to do the jobs Americans won’t (don’t have the chance) to do.
Opportunity to Commit Crimes in America
Apparently not every illegal “living in the shadows” is a valedictorian or an aspiring entrepreneur. From the Washington Times:
"More than 100 immigrants whom the Obama administration released back into the community went on to be charged with subsequent killings, according to government data released Monday that raises more questions about whether immigration authorities are doing enough to detail illegal immigrants awaiting deportation. In one case, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement acknowledged that its agents didn’t find out about an illegal immigrant’s death threats and court injunctions against him — which should have put him back in detention — until after the man was accused of murder."
Drivers’ Licenses
The 2005 Safe Act, enacted after 9/11, created standards for state drivers’ licenses, which include evidence of legal status. Notwithstanding this duly enacted statute, 10 states provide illegal aliens with drivers’ licenses, which is clearly a potential security issue, but when weighed in the balance between national security and increasing the number of democrat voters, it’s a no brainer, right?
Checks from the Federal Treasury As noted previously here, the IRS has acknowledged that illegals will be eligible to file amended tax returns so that they can receive earned income tax credits, as in checks from U.S. taxpayers. Who says crime doesn’t pay?
In-State Tuition
As Numbers USA points out “Federal law states “an alien who is not lawfully present in the United States shall not be eligible on the basis of residence within a State… for any postsecondary education benefit unless a citizen or national of the United States is eligible for such a benefit.” (Title 8, Chapter 14, Section 1623).” Still, several states grant in-state tuition to those in the country illegally. If you are an American citizen, born in this country who can trace your lineage back to the Mayflower, who is a resident of Iowa, and want to attend the University of Illinois, you pay out of state tuition. The illegal sitting in the chair next to you pays in-state tuition, which is completely fair and just. You don’t see that? You need to get your head right. (Note: Texas has realized the error of its ways, and is trying to end in-state tuition for illegals.)
Trade Promotion Authority aka Obamatrade
We learned on Wednesday, June 17, that the recently defeated “fast track” authority that Speaker John Boehner is desperate to bestow on Barack Obama, will come up for another vote on Thursday, June 18. If this bill passes, it will give Barack Obama a virtual blank check on trade agreements, including the Trans Pacific Partnership, which is currently being negotiated.
Thanks to Wikileaks (and there’s a phrase I never thought I’d never say), we know that buried in the huge Trans Pacific Partnership Bill is a huge expansion of Obama’s ability to take even more lawless action on immigration. More here (H/T Breitbart).
Phil Collins once sang “It’s no fun to be an illegal alien,” but that was before Barack Obama embarked on his transformation (aka payback to) of America.
Our only hope to pull our country back from the brink is to nominate a candidate who understands that the key to victory is not to pander to the same mascot groups that wait for democrats to present them with a list of goodies they will receive if they help those democrats win.
