Two children and five adults injured by gunfire at Philadelphia block party
Police officials have confirmed that seven people, including a 2-year-old child, were shot after someone opened fire at a West Philadelphia block party on Saturday. The shooting took place in the 4100 block of Ogden Street around 10 pm est.
Philadelphia police said that two of the victims are children, ages 2 and 10 and were taken Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in critical condition.
Five of the victims are between the ages of 15 and 25 and were taken to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center. This is currently no word on the conditions of these five victims.
"It looks like they just randomly fired down the street and hit anyone in their way. It was just a terrible situation," Philadelphia Police Lt. John Walker said.
